Wow that was quick!!!
Looks awesome fellow Krag Brother in Arms!!!
If your really felling ambitious you might want to consider attaching a wood stock extension.
Butler's Rangers has had tremendous success with attaching stock extensions.
Also, if you ever desire to mount a scope, consider the Krag Haus scope mounting system. It's a Picatinny rail system designed for Krags.

Thanks! Those stock extensions are tempting. So much cheaper than buying a whole stock. Those rails a priced fair. That's cool!

'Mosby Ridge' - You have that Krag looking very good in a short period of time! Hopefully, you have a good range outing soon.
However, we are not believing that left-hand conversion.

You are going to be very bonded to that Krag. You have skills and learned a lot, by doing!
Shooting a Krag just seals the deal.

Thanks! I've never been this deep in a gun before. I was honestly intimidated about disassembly and assembly, but I watched a few videos beforehand and was able to reassemble from memory! When fixing or deeply cleaning something mechanical or electronic I feel a much greater sense of ownership.
I get the feeling I'm going to be on the lookout for neglected firearms haha
