As mentioned bullets for the 30-30 tend to be smallish, .307. I just pulled a bunch of 170grRN out of some old 30 Remington cases and they were all .307". The samples came from several different years of production. Also, PRVI makes a very tapered 168gr match bullet. It doesn't get up to .308 until you get to the intersection of the shank and boat tail. Those I use in my .306" groove diameter K31. Not as accurate as American made match bullets, but acceptable.
