Now I know what I’m looking for. Thanks. Have 2 in my Krag parts box but no ‘C’ anywhere and different ranges.
'Whig' has posted nice photos of two variants of the model 1896 carbine sight. His 1896 sight with the 'high hump' (at the leaf-pivot) is early and rare.
IIRC - There are at least four variations of the 1896 carbine sight with different spacing of leaf graduations and different size slide locking-knobs.
Baltimoreed, you have nice looking Krag carbines. Keep looking, things have a way of showing up!
