U.S. General Hull was defeated at the River Canard, out maneuvered, besieged, and lost his nerve.
I don't think the U.S. Army has ever had a fighting victory on Michigan soil.
I don't know what it says about Michigan, but we ultimately seem to do better at the bargaining table, than the battlefield.
