Gunboards Forums has a very interesting thread, started in 2020 and updated today.

It appears in the "Winchester and Lever-Action Boards".

The O.P. is "PT66". On April 3, 2020, he posted content and photos of a bundle of three rifles, found buried in sawdust insulation between attic rafters of a Manor House, that was undergoing restoration in southern Finland.

The three rifles, (a model 1895 Winchester - Russian military rifle, a Japanese model 35 Arisaka, and a model 1888 Austrian Mannlicher), were wrapped in white paper and 1918 dated Socialist/Communist newspapers.

Today, "Mangrove" posted an update with a link to a recent article (in English) about the Manor House and rifles.

"PT66" posted these beautiful photos on Gunboards, in April 2020, and shared this amazing story.

I just blundered into this material today and wanted to bring it to the attention of KCA Forum members.
It is such a great find and story!
