I'm thining this is too hot

Call it my ignorance but I am thinking these loadings might be too hot for the bolts in an old Krag. Is my thinking this stuff could (maybe not would) lead to cracked lugs misplaced?

Based on advertised velocity, these are moderate loads. "Extreme" doesn't always refer to velocity or pressure.

150 and 180 grain projectiles allow velocities with acceptable pressures in the .30-40 Krag cartridge, which are not possible with 220 grain bullets.

It would be nice if this manufacturer offered chamber pressure data or assurance that their loads are intended for the U.S. Krag.

"EXTREME" is attention getting, but does not give necessary information.
(A telephone call or email to their site, may produce the actual information).
