Managed to get hold of a Krag!

Hello folks

Update on my previous post - found and obtained a beautiful Norwegian krag. All matching numbers - serial 75001.

Blueing is really nice and the rifling is sharp for her age.

I have given her a good clean and whatnot and took her out to the range.

The rifle shot really well, producing a good grouping at 50 yards. The action is smooth, recoil mild and the magazine a joy to use.

I cannot wait to get out to our outdoor Ranges where we regularly shoot out to 600 yards. That'll test my eyesight with those sights!!
