I met up with Paul and his son today 
. Having Paul with you really expedites the process (he managed to clear everyone out the registration building to speed up the process 
) — he’s very well known by the CMP staff! I think we had over a dozen rifles inspected for the event between the three of us.

BR - We are meeting up tomorrow for breakfast at the CMP chow hall — at 0430, I don’t know if I will be able discern pork from chicken

Day 1 - Modern Rifle
I’m not sure what happened to my zero (Fulton Armory FAR15A2), but I was very low — my first CMP event and hopefully my worst score ever

Exciting!!
Paul's the master! He should be running the competitions by now. Lots of fun shooting, it looks like, no matter how you did. I was up there during the winter and bought a couple Garands. Not a soul was anywhere to be found and everything, except the store, was locked up. Cold as a witch's zortch! (That's cold!)
