See if they can fit 'Krag Lifting' into the PT Regim!
Re: Surgical recovery, shooting and hunting. All experiences welcome
Yeah. First is lifting of a box of .30-40 in both hands over a week time frame. Next it is two boxes. Then it is three boxes in a .30 caliber ammo can for two weeks. After that it's a full ammo ammo can for two weeks. The final regimen is two full .50 cal ammo cans for ten days.
once that is done you'll need to do the following: Ten overhead presses with:
A .22 LR rifle
A Krag carbine
A Krag rifle
A .330 win Mag rifle
Finally a Barrett M107A1 held in the standing firing position for ten seconds.
And then and only then do you get to shoot live ammo.
Yeah. That's the ticket.
Or you could gut it out doing 12 ounce curls with your favorite adult beverage.

Dr actually said he is going to have me hunting
And if I got hold of a FULL 50cal ammo can of 3040 I would probably have heart palpations

Swap you a crate of garand ammo
Re: Surgical recovery, shooting and hunting. All experiences welcome
Gee. I'd love to swap but I already have -ahem- enough M2 to last five life times down in the tunnel complex. and since I reload for .30-06 it might as well be twenty five life times.
Just for the sake of my curiosity how much 30-40 do you have on hand?

Ricky... I'm hoping your recovery is proceeding well! I too have quite a surgical scar - an 8 inch long scar across my abdomen from having my galbladder removed in an emergency surgery after it literally exploded in November 2021. I'll offer the same advice that my brother offered me in regards to the scar: Have it serve as tracks and have a train tattooed on it!!!
