In a past thread the fellow that inherited Grandpa's Krag parts asked about getting new Krag actions made as he had a pile of original finished Krag bolts. I think we discussed the cost of making new Krag actions with better material. Sure is fun to talk about. But some of the European Krags built in the 20s should have superior material and handle modern cartridge pressures. The single lug is frowned on today, but that lug is massive and with the head of the bolt entering into a barrel extension would be as strong as many modern guns. Not sure if the bolt enters the end of any European Krag barrels, but it would be an easy mod to make and would increase the ability to handle extra pressure and case failures.
