My secretary's daughter did not like horses because they think they are smarter than you. I had an occasion to let the neighbor's horse out of the pens the other day. I asked "are you smarter than people just think you are smarter than people?" Neither replied so I learned nothing from that discussion. Reasoning on the fact that the neighbor feeds the horse and I have never seen him ride one, I am going with the horses are smarter than people. I mentioned to neighbor that you could eat horse meat and his daughter kind of got upset by that idea. Yep, they is smarter.

Never learned anything from my attempts to talk to cats.

In regard to cats, maybe you need to work on your communication skills?
