Front blade hard to see? Thicken it!
Model 1896 sight 'windage' not shooting to the point of aim? "Drift" the front sight.
Sight picture not in focus? Spin that rear-sight around!
Now, we understand why it's called a "sight-blade".

Besides the hammer business how about dem welds? I was going to sat at least turning the rear sight backwards does on harm, but Bubba may tighten the screws so tight he spreads the base with the miss matched radii.
I had an employee show off his welded scope adapter on Mos Nugent or whatever the name of that Russian rifle is. He sure did not learn welding to a receiver here. I tired really hard to forget I saw it, but it seems like 1/8 by 3/4 strips of hot rolled steel were used. Maybe Weaver rings just barely caught on the hot rolled strip.
