Hi Standard, an addiction

Hi Standard started in 1926 as hartford arms but around 1932 or so the company was purchased by a guy named swebilius. They began producing 22 pistols for military training and eventually even supplied the oss and secret squirrel teams in viet nam. Between 68 and 84 the company changed hands multiple times until being purchased by high standard of houston around 93. The company eventually went totally out of business around 2018 but for a very long time Hi Standard was considered one of the best and most accurate handguns available.
Hi Standard manufactured shotguns as seen in my 12ga pump Flite King as well as a police model i am looking for. They also put firearms together for sears as well as some 1903s bearing Hi Standard barrels
I caught the Hi Standard bug from my father and when he died I inherited the Olympic model in the middle on the book. One day these will be my grandchildren's
