180 gr load data

Post by Fr. Frog »

Anyone have any load data for 180 gr bullets? Winchester 180 factory gives 2277 from a '96 carbine and 45.5 of 4350 gives 2225 so probably 46 gr will match factory. Any other data out there?

I see 47.4gr as max with a 180 in an old Sierra manual. That was out of a 22" barrel and gave 2300fps. I'd say you're in the ball park.
