City Deer have 'street smarts' .... Not so Wild.

Yeah, tell me about the "street smart deer". I was out all afternoon and saw nothing during Illinois' late season deer hunt (just south of the Wisconsin border). Of course I saw two on the way home tonight trying to cross the road in front of me. Had to give it all I had with brakes and horn. At least they looked good and healthy with this relatively mild Winter we are having thus far. My next chance is during the Illinois' late-late season in two weeks. That is when I have the most luck. Maybe we'll have a big storm to make them herd up.
