I finally got around to seeing "Death Hunt" for the first time, today. (I viewed the 1981 movie on YouTube).
A great movie for a snowy afternoon. I liked it!
What's not to like?
Charles Bronson cooly outsmarting rotten assholes.
Lee Marvin, a veteran's veteran Mountie Sgt., seeing through bullshit with an advanced sense of justice, while wearing neat hats (one a 'Stormy Kromer') and shooting a 'cut-down' Norwegian Krag.
There are beautiful snowy woods & mountains and a pompous RCAF Pilot, who satisfyingly flies his 'wounded' Sopwith Camel into a barren mountain ridge.
Add Angie Dickinson and a 'serial killer' trapper, who kills unsuspecting frontier types for their gold teeth, and you've got a story!

It is a good movie. Haven't watched it lately. Have to remedy that.

BEST PART OF YOU...
One of the most memorable scenes in the movie is when Sundog (Carl Weathers) tells Alvin (Andrew Stevens), while both of them are thawing dynamite around a camp fire, that "The best part of Alvin ran down..." Well I guess you'll have to see the movie to hear the rest of the story.

I was too busy viewing Lee Marvin's 'Stormy Kromer' hat, which I thought stole the scene.

Yes I agree, Lee Marvin's Stormy Kromer hat is quite impressive...just like the one I have!
Of course the scene where Charles Bronson leaps from the wreckage of his blown up cabin with his shotgun a blazing is pretty impressive as well!
