.32 ACP?

On the IAA cartridge collectors site, there was a discussion concerning very early .32 ACP cartridges (1898 to about 1910). Reference was made to a Krag supplemental chamber marked "A.C.", implying that someone could shoot .32 ACP cartridges in a Krag. That should work OK, the .32 ACP being a semi-rimmed case. I assumed all the supplemental chambers would be used with .32 S&W cartridges, either Long or Short. Has anyone seen a supplemental chamber marked "A.C."?

I have two of these for .32 S&W They are both marked "Marbles USA Model 155" Those are the only markings I see on them. I don't know if they would work for .32 ACP. I have fired .32 S&W from them in a Krag and in a "95 Winchester. Of course, much less recoil. Fun for plinking.

Are we talking a chamber adapter here? That would be nice to have if so.

Just found this as well.

Marbles numbers for these. Two different ones for the Krag.

# 155 30-40/32 S&W Smokeless
# 157 30-40/ 32 Colt Automatic (.32 ACP)

Yes, that is one. They were relatively common for many calibers from about 1900 up to WW2. I have (or had) one in .303 Savage. My Holy Grail search is to find one in .30/40 Krag used by the Washington DC National Guard when they were armed with the Krag. The DC Guard used those for marksmanship training and indoor matches after the Stevens-Pope conversions were banned. The DC specimens are rifled, 8 grooves, IIRC.

I would love to find one of the Winchester ones. Probably impossible or very expensive.
