Actually, it is about our national character, patriotism, teamwork, overcoming obstacles, enjoying 'fellowship' and pretty women.

A spiralling football, accurately hitting a distant target, is kind of like shooting!

Such things are how we pick ourselves up and maintain our sanity.

How about some Train Content?

Here you go, Paul.

A Michigan beauty and ... a Turkish supply train ...

Ooops, some WW1 handi-work from a British bloke and his Arab friends.

I'd love to take dad on a Pere Marquette excursion while he still can! Actually, I'd love to take him out west for an excursion on the UP 4014... but that would be too much given his health issues now.

Well, I won't be distracted by the game at the Men's Club Super Bowl Party.

It's time to get back to Krag rifles.

Last weekend I took the grandkids to the Southern Civil War Museum located in Kennesaw GA. The museum had a special Trains, Trains, Trains weekend that the grandchildren thoroughly loved, especially my youngest grandchild who's super into trains! The photo has them standing next to the General of the Great Locomotive Chase fame.

Very awesome! I loved the Disney - Fess Parker movie as a kid!

I saw the Ohio monument and graves of Andrews and seven of his Raiders at the Chattanooga National Cemetery, last year.

The "General" is an epic CW story. Good job exposing your grandkids to history!
