I wish to note that much of rural/agricultural Northern California is akin to the midwest, though "waterman", who lives relatively near me, is in something of a hot-pocket of libs. The rest of the state, however, IS pretty much beyond help - as are OR and WA, once green paradises but now infested with Democrat carpetbaggers.

Thanks for the geographical confirmation that you're in a better part of the state. I'm sure you wish the state taxes were lower up north.
