FY 1908/1909 Army Appropriation Bill

General Crozier states that the Army has 400,000 Krag Jorgensens in 1908 and 58,000,000 rounds for them. He is asking for no more, but the Krag may have to be pushed into service if war was to come.
He states that at that time the Army had 331,000 Springfields (1903's). He wanted to take that number up to 600,000 Springfield rifles total in 12 years with a supply of 180,000,000 rounds.
