I have taken to studying the Union's founding in the past few years. Mostly I have focused on the Congressional statutes currently being rammed down our throats or stuffed up the other place.

Each time I go down one path I reach a multiple fork in the road of knowledge. Many of the forks I take lead me to Declaration of Independence and the Article of Confederation from the years of the Revolution and the promise of Freedom and Liberty. But like the dog going back to its vomit the Confederation when to the system of government from which we rebelled.

Today we live in a communist world. (The correct pronunciation as far as I am concerned is "commune ist".) However no one with a public school education knows how we got to the here and now unless the man or woman seeks out the truth. Here the real history. Here is the truth.

Lincoln, Marx, and the GOP lays out that truth in a factual way. This is the history book that should be taught to children. The book is well researched with plenty of footnotes and citations.
