Based on advertised velocity, these are moderate loads. "Extreme" doesn't always refer to velocity or pressure.

If the head space is excessive, you simply expose more throat to the combustion gasses that erode the chamber over time...is that a false assumption on my part? You're looking at the...

Please share with us an explanation of how increased headspace might "cause more throat/leade wear".

This sketch might help with terminology. ("Leade" is sometimes spelled "lede". Writing "lead" for this element can get confusing.)

Bore slugging is easily done at home with minimum tools.
