Looks like a real winner there! Now all ya gotta do is sight 'er in for 200 yards and get up to Perry for the Roosevelt Match! Sweet Krag!!!

Nice rifle good looking clean up. Wood grain appears to be American black walnut.

Nice find and good job of cleanup! How many hoops does a FL resident have to jump through to make a firearms purchase in Maine?

None really. I have a FFL03 (C&R), so it boiled down to providing a copy of my FFL03 and my drivers license.

I flew up with an airline approved hard case in anticipation of buying it.

I see, I had a C&R license until some O'bozo issued an unlawful order about disabled people and firearms. Someone took care of that problem for me. Maybe I'll get another.
