Price of bullets rant
Re: Price of bullets rant
Well after doing some searching nobody has Hornady 220 or 180 RN but Midway USA had the Sierra 220 RN on sale for $37 with free shipping over $49. Not a super great price but better than most right now. I ordered some yesterday so they have some if anybody else is interested.

IMHO - Now is a good time to try cast-bullets and lighter available 'jacketed' projectiles, when shooting Krags at 50, 100, and 200 yards.
If the goal is 'Match' accuracy, hunting performance, or cheap practice and 'plinking' ammo, there are options, (maybe even better), to using 220 grain RN projectiles.
Benefits from other options could be: less recoil, lower pressures, higher velocities, improved accuracy, and less expense (more shooting).
