That other rifle in 30-40 Krag

Along with the regular Krag rifles, carbines and the remington lee rifle, a lot of 1895 winchesters in 30-40 Krag were made. These can still be found at shops and shows. I had mine out today and it was a lot of fun to shoot. 170gr. powder coated cast bullets with a charge of 2400 powder proved pretty accurate with iron sights (and my eyes) at 50yds. Its nice to be able to get out to the range on a nice day. These hollow point loads would make good varmint medicine.

Thanks Charles: This one came equiped with a lyman ladder sight. It was close to dead on with my reloads at the low setting.
