once ina while

Post by Mark_Daiute »

Once in a while you get lucky. I got hooked up with this true 1892 that was never upgraded to 96.

The closest I thought I would ever get was my 4 digit serial number 96 upgrade with a 92 handguard and small wrist stock.Image

There are things I'm curious about, too. Is the cleaning rod eliminated under the barrel? Was the groove filled in with a rounded or squared off piece of wood. Armory updated? Date of cartouche? Still has the 1892 bolt? No bolt hold open update? How about a full length shot.

Really nice so far...

I love the thin wrist Krag stocks.

Would be nice to see the bolt removed from the action.
